A bit of introduction

Ribbit, ribbit, ribbit….

I guess that an introduction is always necessary whenever you have to talk about something. It’s an exercise that is I really hate to do because each time, I don’t have any clue about what to say. So I will try out with the basics: name, age, where are you from, hobbies and purpose of this blog.

So my name is Florence. I am in my twenties and I am from Frogland (aka France). My hobbies are mostly: being lazy, reading in my couch, sleeping and mostly travelling around the world. Travelling is probably the only moment where I never am lazy. When I am travelling, I become: curious, excited, hyperactive…. So basically, I don’t do what I normally do. Did you get it?

About the purpose of this blog? Ah…. That is a bit embarrassing… I will be far far away from home for 2 months and a half in Kiwiland and Mama wants to have some news. So I said : “Ok! I’m gonna emailed you!” But then, my sis asked for news, my dad, my grand mothers, my whole family and some friends as well…. So I ended up with this horrible thing : trying to get in touch with people almost everyday and writing emails everyday! So I had this bright idea of writing a blog where they could follow me during my trip. So Mama will know that I am fine and that I will not fall into a volcano, that I will not try to kick a kiwi because the frogs lost in rugby, that I will not try out the haka, that I will not be eaten by a shark or by a kiwi (the bird), that I will not be poisoned by a kiwi (the fruit)….  Anyway… Basically, if you want some news, you got to read this blog! And for the ones who don’t speak Roastbeef…. A Frog translation will be available!

Je suppose qu'une introduction est toujours nécessaire lorsque va prendre la parole. C'est un exercice que je déteste tout particulièrement car je suis toujours à court d'idées. Donc voici les basiques : nom, âge, d'où l'on vient, activités préférées et but de ce journal.

Je m'appelle Florence, j'ai une bonne vingtaine d'années et mes activités préférées sont : être fainéante, dormir, lire sur mon canapé et surtout voyager. Lorsque je voyage, je ne suis pas vraiment en mode farniente. Je suis plutôt du genre curieuse, super excitée, hyperactive.... Bref, je ne suis plus moi-même....

Le but de ce blog?? Assez embarrassant! Pendant 2 mois et demi, je vais être très très loin de la maison Grenouille (France) pour voyager au pays des Kiwis (Nouvelle-Zélande). Bien entendu, Maman veut de mes nouvelles. Ma réponse : "Ok! Je t'envoies des mails!" Mais ma soeur, mon père, mes grand-mères, ma famille, mes amis en veulent aussi des nouvelles. Donc, ne me voyant pas écrire une tonne de mails par jour, j'ai décidé d'écrire un journal pour que tout le monde puisse me suivre et surtout pour que maman ne se fasse pas de films. Non, je ne tomberais pas dans un volcan! Non, je ne me battrais pas avec un kiwi à cause de la défaite au rugby. Non je ne danserais pas le Haka. Non, je ne serais pas mangée par un requin ou un kiwi (l'oiseau). Non, je ne m’empoisonnerais pas à cause d'un kiwi (le fruit).... Bref, si vous voulez des nouvelles, vous n'aurez qu'à lire ce blog! Je l'écris en roastbeef aussi pour les non francophone mais vous pourrez suivre la version grenouille!
